3. The body was then levelled out with several coats of high and low build primer, followed by lots of elbow grease when using a long block for the sanding. 4. Tracking down the colour of paint we wanted. 5. Once they were satisfied that the body was as they wanted it they applied the paint. |

6. Customised fabrication of bumper brackets to accept the new, fabricated, extended bumpers. 7. Fitting of two new doors and re-aligning so that the shut lines were as equal as they could be. |
|
8. Re- alignment of the bonnet. 9. Fitting and re-alignment of a new deck lid. 10. Re-fitting all the exterior trim, hood and the interior leather and seats. 11. Final flat and polish. When you read the list it doesn't appear to be a great deal but seeing the difference in the lines and the new look of Purdey, shows the amount of effort the lads put in. We would recommend anyone with a Speedster or a Spyder to check them out if any bodywork is needed. We received a service and quality of work that seriously impressed us and they also restored our faith in bodyshops. Click here to go to the V DUB BODYSHOP website on this you can see examples of the work and there is a rough guide to costs. The site was featured in Volks World.
