Welcome to Speedsters and Spyders - the Club!

Our very active Club caters for owners and enthusiasts of these delightful cars and we hope that the website will encourage you to join the Club and develop your interest further.

On this site you will find details of how our Club started, many of the benefits it offers, events we are organising or supporting during the year, reports on recent gatherings, the exclusive-to-members clothing range, a register of members, a list of 356 clubs worldwide, Speedsters and Spyders for sale and wanted, related books and memorabilia, useful suppliers of parts and accessories, technical info for builders and restorers, a Club Membership Application Form - and much, much more.

Please help us with our aim of having pictures and details on this site of every original and replica Speedster and Spyder still in existence! Like the cars and the Club, this site is 'driven by enthusiasm' - so we welcome your feedback.

  • If you are a Speedster or Spyder enthusiast, this is the Club for you. Traditionally since it was formed in 1992, around 30% of the membership have not actually been owners of one of these cars - you simply have to share our passion for these distinctive classics.

Although based in the UK, with members from Cornwall to Scotland, we have also enrolled enthusiasts in mainland Europe, America, Canada, Australia and New Zealand. Although their main contact with fellow members in other countries is through the Club magazine and this website, some do actually attend events organised in Britain! Naturally there are more owners of replicas than originals but we have included 911 Speedster owners as well a those of the classic fifties cars.

The aims of our Club are to:

    • Keep all members in contact through the written word and pictures
    • Provide a comprehensive selection of events to attend
    • Support related events in the UK and overseas - the Classic Le Mans being a popular example!
    • Encourage the sharing of technical information and assistance
    • Provide support in the sourcing of parts, accessories and associated areas - such as insurance.

A selection of members' cars line up during an Action Day at the Castle Combe Racing Circuit in Wiltshire
