Jasper Fforde I'm a new Speedster member and here are some photos of my speedster with its 'unusual' colour scheme - I expect howls of protests from the afcionados, but what the hell - I like it. YOT 32: Jasper Fforde's Chesil Speedster. Bought in 1995 and rebuilt using a 1959 chassis upgraded to take disc brakes, my Chesil (build number 28) has covered 60,000 miles as I used it as an everyday transport for nearly six years. Now with a twinport green engine it is used more as occasional transport. The paint scheme was added in 2001 and is of the lizards in
MC Escher's famous picture. To me this doesn't seem unusual -
I did the same thing to an MG metro in 1990. |
