(Posted 25th September 2009) Peter Lamb - lambies1@hotmail.co.uk - Peter built a Chesil Speedster in 1995-97. It was Super white with blue leather interior and registration BMX 220H. It had a 1641 engine with twin carbs and a lightened flywheel. The engine was blue with chrome panels. The exhaust had a stainless steel cover visible from the back. It had stainless steel kick plates on the sills. He sold it to a solicitor in Kettering and is wondering where it is now and whether it is for sale. Have electrical problem - when horn,brakes or wind washer pressed, it activates indicator light in speedo and repeater unit. All work except brake lights. He would like to use a nice speedster as a prop. The models and photographer are professional, and they are using Crewe Hall for the shoot which is 5 miles from junction 16 of the M6. Can anyone help Carlos get the exact original measures and distance between gauges in order to make exact centered holes for installing original VDO (3) gauges?
